Gallops Architectural have been salvaging original building materials for decades. We like to think we know a thing or two about old buildings and can put a price on most things. But we can't be experts in everything, and there's always a chance that you could pick up a real bargain while browsing our one-acre site.
Jo Gallop says: "I know there have to have been times when I have let something go out cheap. We deal in just about everything to do with old or period houses, and we are always open to negotiate a price. I have a sneaking suspicion that some people have walked out of here with an absolute bargain."
"We welcome people coming in, looking around and talking to us about what they want. There's so much to see here that anyone who likes old things will find something to interest them. Even if they are not involved in building projects, there’s something here. People love to look around and get ideas for their home improvements, but they rarely leave empty-handed, there’s usually something which takes their fancy.”
And a visit to Gallops Architectural can be the perfect day trip from Cardiff, Swansea, Bristol or Birmingham. We are a mile outside the market town of Crickhowell with its famously independent High Street (voted the best in the UK in 2018) and surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
