Puck is a mythical figure from early English folklore who is most famously known as a character in Shakespeare's 'A mid summer night's dream'. A quote from the play has been impressed into the base of the statue ' I'll put a girdle round about the earth in forty minutes'.
The figure and pedestal are 2 separate components sold together.
